Experience Nepal tour

One of the best ways to experience Nepal on a limited time frame is to have a quick tour of the country’s best tourist areas and here is a possible combination. The aim of this tour is to combine the best of all the cultural heritages in Nepal by visiting the land of mystical city Kathmandu valley and exploring the religious/cultural and most popular sites that makes Nepal famous. Get the full adventurous river rafting fun with the finest adrenaline rush that you can ever imagine of and discover the wild forest of Chitwan National Park tracking some of the wild animals in their natural habitat. Then relocate to the Holy land of Lumbini where the Light of Asia, Lord Gautam Buddha was born a place full of serenity and peacefulness where one will discover a life changing experience. And on leaving Lumbini its time to head North to the paradise of Pokhara next to the beautiful Fewa lake in the front and Annapurna Himalayas in background. All it complements with a touch of cultural sightseeing tour, visiting Nagarkot and Changu Narayan temple with the heart touching experience of Nepal.

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu valley

Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu where you are welcomed by our team members and escorted to the Hotel to freshen up or rest as the case may be. Here as you are relaxing they will explain the program for the next few days and will either leave you to rest or take you on a short sightseeing tour of KTM depending on what time a day you arrive.

Nagarkot will give you your first chance of viewing the Himalayas

Day 02 Kathmandu – Nagarkot (32 kms – 1.5hrs drive)

 

After a relaxing breakfast you will meet your guide for a half day taster of Kathmandu visiting the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples in Nepal. We keep going for walk to see the huge of stupa of Buddha, also known as Bouddhanath, the largest stupa in Nepal. From there you will take a taxi ride to Bhaktapur which is a

fascinating town to visit Durbar Square featuring the Victorian illustrations style with temples and temples complex. Before leaving via car to head for Nagarkot and an overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 03 Nagarkot hill station – Kathmandu

 

After breakfast it’s time to return to Kathmandu and keep sightseeing with Kathmandu Durbar Square, the place of the Malla and then the Shah Kings of Nepal, visiting Kumari Temple, house of the virgin goddess. Before visiting Swoyambhunath, a stupa on the top of hill – from here you can overlook the scenery of Kathmandu Valley, And finishing in Patan city, the second largest town in the valley which is home to the Krishna Mandir, Golden Temple etc.

 

Day 04 Kathmandu – Chitwan (190 kms. 5hrs drive)

 

After breakfast it’s time to travel overland from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park. Now if the roads are clear then you will make it in 5 hours but please remember that Nepal is a third world country and you should always give a day for the travel. But it’s worth it as when you are walking down the roads with the elephants on their way to feed in the jungle. On top of this you will experience lots of Safari activities; jungle walks, canoeing, 4WD safaris and so forth… Once the night falls down, we entertain you with cultural performances including bonfire before going to bed.

Day 05 Chitwan Jungle Safari day

 

Start with an early breakfast so you have time for a full day of safari activities in Royal Chitwan national Park. If you’re lucky you will see many amazing creatures that you spend most time to looking for; rhinoceroses, Chitwan’s royal Bengal tigers, leopards, monkeys, many types of deer and reptiles. Check your camera gear – preferably with a telephoto lens and you will not miss any shots. Stay overnight at Lodge.

 

Day 06 Chitwan – Pokhara (192 kms – 5hrs drive)

 

After breakfast it’s time to depart to Pokhara where if you have time there will be a half day sightseeing of Pokhara, the most popular destination in Nepal after Kathmandu. Here you will have a little time to enjoy on the banks of the Phewa Lake as you

Pokhara is worth a visit on its own being the tourist town of Nepal

can admire the stunning view of the Fish Tail’s Peak reflected in the silver surface of the water. You can also see the wonderful Annapurna panorama forms a superb backdrop to Pokhara from the lake. Aside from Phewa Lake there are other tourist attractions but this depends on the time you have available.

Day 07-9 Pokhara – Three days trek to Australian camp

In the morning you will set off on a mini trek to reach the Australia camp via Kande so can you can get a stunning view of the Central Himalayas. Because it’s only a couple of days it gives you a great insight into the treks available and what you would experience. Because everything from the mountains to the villages and terrace farms along the trails of this trek are superbly beautiful. Return to Pokhara via Dhampus Village. Stay overnight at best available tea houses

Day 10 Pokhara, Fewa lake side

After breakfast you can either choose to have a tour of Pokhara or just relax in Lakeside with other travellers as it’s the last day in this area.

Day 11 Pokhara/Kathmandu (200 KMS – 5/6hrs drive)or flight

After breakfast you will drive to the airport for a flight to Pokhara and usually it takes around 25 mins. If the weather is clear it’s also gives you the chance to see the great view of Annapurna and Manaslu Himalayan ranges. Or if you are feeling adventurous then take the tourist bus for more chances to see this wonderful country. Arrive in KTM and you will be transferred to the hotel for a rest.

Day 12 Back to your own destination
