Everest Base Camp

All trekkers have heard of Mount Everest and the epic struggle that thousands have endured in order to stand in the Everest base camp. So it must be one of the most important destinations for not just the region but the whole Himalayas. The unique mixture of majestic mountains, high mountain villages, isolated monasteries and innate hospitality of the ever smiling faces of the Sherpa are just some of the major attractions of the

Everest region. The region itself holds the highest mountain in the world but also many other 8000+ metre peaks such as Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and Makalu.  Due to the availability of such high mountains in the area, Everest region has gained its popularity as a rewarding trekking region in the world.

Steeped in history the trek itself is classed as a classic because it follows in the footsteps of Sir Edmund Hillary & Tensing Sherpa and ends with an ascent of Kala Patthar. From where, first hand observation of the summit of Mount Everest and many other peaks.

The base camp awaits ahead of you but look up to the summit as its only 3000 metres to go
